วิทยาลัยการฝึกหัดครู จัดประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมการแข่งขัน Creative Math Competition ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ผ่านบอร์ดเกม

เมื่อวันที่ 10 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2568 ณ ห้องประชุม ชั้น 4 อาคาร 100 ปี วิทยาลัยการฝึกหัดครู มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏพระนคร ได้มีการจัดประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมการจัดการแข่งขัน Creative Math Competition โดยใช้บอร์ดเกม Battle of the Numbers (B.O.N) เป็นเครื่องมือหลักในการแข่งขัน เสริมสร้างทักษะทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านรูปแบบการเรียนรู้ที่สนุกและท้าทาย
กิจกรรมนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้ความร่วมมือของ สมาคมส่งเสริมและพัฒนากำลังคนสเต็มเพื่ออนาคต (IAFSW) กับมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ 14 แห่งทั่วประเทศ พร้อมด้วยพันธมิตรจาก บริษัท Concent Edu และโครงการ TEDET เพื่อยกระดับทักษะคณิตศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ และ STEAM ของนักเรียนไทยอย่างเป็นระบบ
การแข่งขันครั้งนี้มุ่งหวังให้ผู้เรียนพัฒนาทักษะการคิดขั้นสูง ได้แก่ การคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ การคิดวิเคราะห์ การวางแผนและกลยุทธ์ รวมถึงการแก้ปัญหา ผ่านการเรียนรู้ที่แฝงไว้ในเกมกระดานคณิตศาสตร์
วัตถุประสงค์หลักของกิจกรรม ได้แก่:
การแข่งขัน Creative Math Competition ครั้งนี้เปิดรับนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ถึงมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โดยรอบแรกในระดับประเทศ (All Thailand Competition) มีกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 5–6 กรกฎาคม 2568 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏพระนคร
ด้วยแนวคิด “เรียนรู้ผ่านเกม” (Gamification) นักเรียนจะได้เข้าใจแนวคิดพื้นฐานทางคณิตศาสตร์ เช่น จำนวนเฉพาะ, จำนวนกำลังสอง, จำนวนกำลังสาม, พหุคูณ และตัวประกอบ ผ่านการแข่งขันที่ออกแบบอย่างมีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ กระตุ้นให้เกิดการเรียนรู้ด้วยความสนุกและความท้าทาย
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของการบูรณาการความร่วมมือภาคการศึกษาไทย เพื่อสร้างพื้นฐานทักษะศตวรรษที่ 21 ให้กับเยาวชนไทยอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
Thailand’s Teacher Training College Prepares for Creative Math Competition Using Board Games to Boost Student Engagement
Bangkok, Thailand — June 10, 2025
The Faculty of Education at Phranakhon Rajabhat University hosted a strategic planning meeting in its Centennial Building to prepare for the upcoming Creative Math Competition, which uniquely integrates board game-based learning into mathematics education.
At the heart of the event is the use of the board game "Battle of the Numbers (B.O.N)", a tool designed to strengthen students’ math skills through play-based, interactive competition.
The initiative is part of a nationwide collaboration led by the International Association for the Future STEM Workforce (IAFSW) in partnership with 14 Rajabhat Universities, Concent Edu, and the TEDET program, aiming to systemically improve students’ capabilities in mathematics, science, and STEAM.
A New Approach to Math Education
The competition promotes key 21st-century skills, including:
- Critical thinking
- Analytical reasoning
- Problem-solving
- Strategic planning
By embedding these skills in a game format, the program not only enhances academic abilities but also shifts student attitudes toward mathematics—turning a traditionally challenging subject into one that is engaging and enjoyable.
Through Gamification, students will learn mathematical concepts such as prime numbers, square and cube numbers, multiples, and factors in a creative, hands-on format. This approach encourages active learning and sustained interest in STEM fields.
Competition Details
The Creative Math Competition is open to students from Grade 3 to Grade 10. The national qualifying round, known as the All Thailand Competition, will be held on July 5–6, 2025, at Phranakhon Rajabhat University in Bangkok.
This event is part of a broader movement to foster 21st-century competencies in Thai youth, combining educational innovation with strategic national collaboration. By using games as a bridge to deeper learning, the program exemplifies how mathematics education can be reimagined for lasting impact.
